Used 2014 Ford Expedition for Sale nearMurfreesboro, TN

How much does the 2014 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 5.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 467 listings available, which gives you a moderate amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 4.89/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, value for money, strong performance, and comfort, and many also highlight its long-trip capability. That makes it a practical fit if you want a full-size SUV for hauling people and cargo with a focus on comfort and utility. With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 4.89/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, dependability, and trouble-free use, especially for long trips. That said, some shoppers note high mileage and wear on older examples, so long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how well a specific used example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford Expedition?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, signs of wear, and evidence of heavy use, especially on higher-mileage examples. Because this is a large SUV, you should also pay close attention to how well the interior, suspension, and cargo areas have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Ford Expedition?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 467 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,058, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $10,277 sits slightly below last year's $10,820.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can make resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong point in the range. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is choosing a well-kept example with strong documentation and avoiding vehicles with visible wear or accident history. Demand should remain steadier for cleaner, better-maintained SUVs in this segment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $11,610, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $10,277 average.
• It brings a more fuel-efficient EcoBoost V6.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the stronger starting point because prices are lower and deal availability is solid. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer-year powertrain update, the 2015 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize that change over upfront savings.
