Is the 2014 Audi A6 a good car?

Owners consistently praise its performance, handling, and comfort, and the balanced, responsive driving feel comes through as a recurring strength. The model also fits well if you want a midsize luxury sedan that feels substantial and refined without giving up everyday usability. Some owners note that the navigation system can be cumbersome, but the overall impression is of a well-liked luxury sedan with broad appeal.

With 39.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive example if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also describes it as durable and reliable, with strong power and performance backing up that impression. That combination suggests you can expect a car that many owners feel confident living with over time, especially if it has been maintained well.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition of the individual car you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A6?

At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on bodywork, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that can point to past repairs. Focus on overall condition and documentation, because the best used example will be the one with the cleanest history and the most consistent maintenance record.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A6?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 301 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,180, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $10,599 sits slightly below last year's $11,380.

That price movement suggests the model has softened in the market, which can work against you if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, it may help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect its value better than the average listing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2014 is the primary year to focus on because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a softer price trend and a reasonable number of deals. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep comparing individual listings closely and be willing to move quickly on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than chasing a specific year alone.
