Is the 2014 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Audi A4 earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride and handling, luxury features, and performance, and many describe it as a strong mix of comfort and spirited driving. Is the 2014 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights the car as a dependable, trouble-free choice for many shoppers, with praise centered on its overall quality and the confidence it inspires over time. The same feedback suggests it can be a sensible option if you want a premium sedan you can count on, though you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and condition before buying. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more manageable when you choose a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A4?

At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and whether the car has been maintained consistently, since those factors matter more when you are shopping a used luxury sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop thoughtfully and still find worthwhile opportunities if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 418 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,182, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $9,583 sits slightly below last year's $10,112.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you purchase near the lower end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell. Strong condition and a clean history should matter more than ever if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.23% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2014 Audi A4 is a strong primary choice if you want a well-liked compact luxury sedan with a softer price trend and solid owner approval. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example fits your budget more comfortably, but the 2014 remains a sensible place to start.
