How much does the 2014 Audi A4 cost?

Prices have softened 5.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 411 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price and condition.

Is the 2014 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride and handling, the luxury features, and the performance, while also describing it as a good value for the money. The overview also frames it as a compact luxury sedan that balances improved performance with everyday usability, which makes it appealing if you want a premium car that still feels practical. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2014 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability-positive traits such as a trouble-free feel in everyday use and a car that owners feel good about keeping over time. The overview also notes that reliability was improved over the previous version of the engine, which supports the case for this model year. For used buyers, that means the long-term ownership risk looks more manageable than you might expect from a compact luxury sedan, though condition still matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A4?

At 59.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to the transmission behavior, cold-start operation, and overall interior and exterior condition. Since the back seat is noted as cramped and some owners mention CVT concerns during cold starts, you should focus on how the car actually drives and whether it has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 411 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,183, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $9,519 sits slightly below last year's $10,061.

That price movement suggests the model has softened, which can work against you if you’re selling soon. On the other hand, the current market still shows steady demand because the car is viewed as a value-oriented luxury sedan with strong owner approval. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you can help protect your future resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2014 is the stronger primary target because it combines improved performance, solid owner satisfaction, and a softer price trend. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can widen your search and compare nearby years, but the 2014 gives you a compelling balance of value and buyer confidence.
