It handles great, drives effiicently and looks sharp but I miss turbo torque from Saabs that I have owned. The Focus does have amazing ride and handling with the sport suspension package and 18" wheels with summer tires and I've averaged 31+ mpg in mixed driving. The DSG transmission rev matches seamlessly but 3rd gear is a somewhat sluggish. It's a little tight inside for cargo space but I like it overall. It just feels very solid (yet light) for a compact car.

very beautiful car. great to drive, but very low. car was 12 months old when the clutch master cylinder went.not great, but was repaired in 2 days. brilliant space in the cabin, but not great in height. im 6ft 6inch so its hard to find a car that is. 1.6 diesel engine pulls well over 1500 revs but lacks true power. great internal equipment for the price, and an average of 43mpg not great on economy but not like the 19mpg we got from the ford mondeo 2.3l. overall a great family car and very well equipped. but if you need the power. go for the petrol engine or the 2 litre

Overall really happy with this car despite the dual clutch being a bit all over the place and some rattles here and there...performance is good for a small car...excellent tech though.. sat nav, cornering lights, adaptive cruise, auto parking etc.
