It's a roadster; a 2 seat, RWD, convertible. I don't have kids so there's no need for a backseat. Cargo room. I can pack an entire shopping cart of groceries into the trunk and then there's half a cart worth of room behind the roll bars when the top it up. There's also cubbies everywhere in the car for extra storage. It's shocking when you realize how much stuff it can hold! Build quality, ride quality and MPG are better than the '06 I had. They say the AT and MT have similar MPG, HOWEVER, the MT has 167HP vs the AT with 158HP so that's a win for the MT. I've had the car in for oil changes....... that's about it. Well, the battery had to be reset for sitting in the showroom for so long so aside from that it's been super reliable. shifting is like butter and I smile every time I have the top down and I see curvy roads coming up. It's worth the money. The sound system is better than in my '06 AND you get speakers in-between the seats in every trim on the newer models instead of just the GT on the older models like my '06. Just drive one with the top down on a beautiful day and you'll see why Mazda has sold over 900,000 of these cars since it was released in '89 and the number is shooting up higher each year.
