How much does the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

There are 1,260 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder earns 4.3/5 from shoppers, and the overview points to a practical three-row midsize SUV with a spacious interior, family-friendly packaging, and strong towing ability. If you want a comfortable, feature-rich SUV rather than a rugged off-roader, that combination is a major part of its appeal. The tradeoff is that the broader lineup has been criticized for below-average fuel economy for the class, so it fits best if space, versatility, and towing matter more to you than efficiency. 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a few ownership cautions, including earlier CVT concerns and the need to pay close attention to maintenance history and test-drive behavior. For used buyers, that means reliability risk is manageable if you verify service records and focus on how the drivetrain feels in real-world driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 62.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks for accident repairs, drivetrain behavior, and signs of deferred maintenance. Because the overview calls out CVT concerns in some earlier models, pay close attention to smoothness under acceleration, shifting behavior, and any unusual noises or vibrations. Condition matters most here, so a clean service record and a careful test drive should carry real weight in your decision.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

If you find a listing below $13,419, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $13,419 sits slightly below last year's $15,261.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. Demand should remain supported by the Pathfinder’s practical three-row layout and family-focused appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Pathfinder makes the most sense if you want a roomy, family-oriented three-row SUV and you can verify condition carefully. If your priority is the best possible value, this year’s softer pricing makes it a strong primary target; if you want to be more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than the newest badge.
