This is my fourth Impala and by far the best. I was happy with the 2000, impressed with the 2005 LS, satisfied with 2008 LS but totally impressed with my new 2009 LTZ! Performance: Acceleration of the 3.9 V6 is more than adequate for highway travel and passing. Braking is true and straight and the FE3 suspension while firmer than the FE1 ride is still very nicely mannered and matched well to the V6 powerplant. The build quality gets better all the time. While not as nice as Lexus or Cadillac the interior materials are very nice for a car of this price point (much nicer than Toyota Camry or Chrysler 300). With 6 airbags, ABS and traction control, stability control this car is as safe as it gets, and it sports a 5 star crash protection rating. The appearance, interior and exterior are pleasing and very modern. The car is pleasing to the eye yet has enough stlye so as not to get lost when compaired to cookie cutter Japanese compeditors. The sportiness and luxury mix of the LTZ is great. The flip and fold rear seating is unique to the Imapa in the full size class. Bluetooth connectivity and stability control two reasons we purchased this car. Fuel economy of this vehincle is great for the class, almost all the miles on this car are interstate miles averaging 31 MPG using E-10 fuel and 27 MPG using E-85. This is a very nice, contemporary American Family car that is sporty and fun to drive. It has ample room for a family of four adults and their gear for weekend trips.

The Chevy Impala LTZ is Reliable car, well it does not have the performance of a high priced car it does have nice touches. I look forward to the next impala that Chevy makes as long as they do not forget to keep making comfortable reliable cars.

This car is the best car I have owned yet. Ten times better than my former 2005 Ford Taurus I traded in. Comfort and class in a great looking and riding automobile. If you don't own one you should drive and buy one you'll love it.
