The Dodge Dakota pickup truck rolls into 2008 with a new look and a more-powerful V8 engine. The Dakota's updated exterior includes a more aerodynamic front end with a new hood, grille, headlights, and front fascia. Many drivers and reviewers like the Dakota's makeover, noting that it's an improvement over the previous year's flat front-end look. The midsize Dakota has been a favorite with drivers for years due to its flexibity, since it can serve as a family-oriented vehicle or a work truck capable of towing up to 7,050 pounds when equipped with the V8 engine and the Trailer Tow package. To add to the Dakota's flexibility, it's available in either six-passenger crew-cab or extended-cab versions, with either two-wheel or four-wheel drive.
