Everyone wants a fancy crossover like Allen Iverson, and GMC introduces its own version with the new 2007 Acadia. This car-SUV mashup has 6 trims: the SLE1 FWD, SLE1 AWD, SLT1 FWD, SLT1 AWD, SLT2 FWD, and SLT2 AWD. All trims use a 3.6-liter, 275-hp V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Acadia has 4 doors and seats 8.
In addition, expect the Acadia to deliver around 17 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. The Acadia also gives you 19.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row that stretches out to 119 cubic feet when you fold down the second and third rows. Safety features include 6 airbags, stability control and a tire pressure monitoring system. Ride high on standard 18 inch wheels or upgrade to 19 inch wheels.
Overall, drivers like the Acadia's roomy, comfortable interior, smooth handling and cargo space. On the other hand, reviewers agree that the interior could use some higher-quality materials. Balance the positive with the negative, and you'll conclude that the GMC Acadia Crossover SUV has gotten off to a very promising start.

(24 reviews)A comfortable roamy, safe vehicle that gets good gas milage. great for road trips and gear. Spaciously comfortable for car camping. Fabulous sound system Bosc speakers, back seat has own system to plug head phones into. I have really enjoyed this acadia. It's just big for our driveway and only having one child.
I love the way it rides and handles. I am addicted to the heated seats and XM radio. Very easy to drive and easy to afford. Interior is easy to keep clean with plenty of cup holders for everyone. Love it!
Comfy, but slow in the acceleration. The looks and the interior are the most appealing features of this "crossover".
I really liked the way it drove and acted on the road. It took off when I wanted it to and braked really well. I found it to be roomy, I an 6' 1" and I have a large build. The only down fall is the weight. For the size, I think that it is a little heavy, which if they can get the weight down, they the fuel mileage will go up.
Everything is perfect. Only one minor problem, do not expect 16-24 on gas average 16 is more 14 in the city 24 you should dream about it, will never happen
