Overview
The Cadillac Escalade ESV expanded another inch and a half with added capacity for 2007. Cargo space now comes out to 137 cubic feet. In addition, the 6.2 L V8 engine packs 403 horses under the hood. Cadillac has also upgraded the automatic transmission from 4 speed to 6 with all-wheel drive. As for entertainment, the Escalade now has 10 speakers and a cd/dvd drive in the dash.
Otherwise, you get everything that makes the Escalade ESV the automotive object of a celebrity's affections. The length eclipses the basic Escalade by 19.4 inches. Gas consumption comes out to 13 mpg in the city to 19 mpg on the highway. Take your pick between 18 and 22 inch wheels, then watch heads turn as you roll by the common folk. Cargo space with all seats up and intact comes out to 45.8 cubic feet. This vehicle has power outlets accessible from all three rows. Your opinion of the 2007 Escalade ESV depends on whether or not you emphasize form over function. If you do, enjoy the technology, power, style, and extra length. If you don't, think twice before you buy. Owners would like more gas mileage and fewer maintenance issues. In the end, the value you derive really depends on who you need to impress.

Air conditioned seats!!! Worth every penny like the commercial says. This is my favorite car I've ever owned. If it were a hybrid, or better fuel economy, it would have to be the best car ever made. Some of my favorites are the navigation system, beautiful interior, great visability while driving, easy to control, the self adjusting mirrors when in reverse, backup camera, and backup sensors are great!

I use the Escalade for transporting friends and lots of luggage and that has worked well for our family. When driving it you need to pay complete attention to the road. It takes a lot of space and so it's not the first car I would take from my garage to do errands downtown.

Great family SUV for long trips travel entertaining kids. Poor gas mileage. High quality and very comfortable. Dual DVD system is a plus for kids. Passenger sits are the most comfortable I have ever seen. Air conditioned seats are nice too.
