However, the 4Runner is not without some high-end interior touches. Some of the high-tech options include a navigation system with a rear-mounted camera to assist in parallel parking and backing out, Bluetooth technology and a jack for portable audio devices.

The 2006 4Runner is available in three trim levels, which include the SR5, the Sport Edition and the Limited. All are available with a V6 or V8 engine and two or four-wheel drive. A third-row seat is available in some combinations, but users complain that it offers too little legroom and greatly reduces the available cargo space. Prices for the 2006 Toyota 4Runner range from approximately $27,000 to $40,000.
