We have loved owning this vehicle. We have been all over the western USA & Canada with this SUV. Handles great and comfortable drive. This vehicle handles great in snow and ice. Very sturdy. We have expensive Michelin mud and snow tires for smooth, safe ride.

Not much to do exept drive it. Low maintenance cost, ex the gas, but that is pretty much the same with all SUV's in this range. I still looks as good as it did new. When you are done with the driving, it has good resale.

Very well built transmission can read our minds. Great fuel economy. Very nimble for an SUV Lots of torque Very reliable, never had any problems after 50k miles. Comfortable front seats and average rear seats. Very practical and hold its value.

I would recommend the 4runner to anyone. I have put 200K miles and still have the original brakes, battery, etc. on the car. What other car could you say that you have 200K with no issues. I have only changed the oil on the car. I love this car.

I like Toyota 4runners. They're dependable. They're comfortable. With some pretty intelligent ideas put into the entire vehicle. Handles very well for a bigger SUV. Has superb get up and go and very acceptable gas mileage. Hauls my groceries and my canoe. As well as plenty of passengers with gear. Great for camping in any weather. Blows icy cold in summer. Warm and toasty in the winter. Very happy to have this particular model being the sport edition it lives up to its name

This has to be one of the easiest vehicle to own. This was my first Toyota and midsize SUV. It's fun to drive and it's functionality and reliability can't be beat. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this vehicle.

the acceleration is very good in it for and suv and a 6 cyc. it has only been to the shop for oil changes. it is a sharpe looking car and the mileage is very good as well. it is very fun to drive.

My third 4Runner. It feels like Im home as I approach retirement with plans that this is my last hurrah - never wanting car payments in the future. It runs like a brand new vehicle! It has, clearly held up well over the past 17 years.

The vehicle is of great value. I love all the features the vehicle has. If I am in the market for another car, I will buy the same vehicle. I love it as it is very dependable.

Elevated comfort, throwback features with analog gauges, exceptional engine designed to be driven for miles, feature packed for road trips. High use of gasoline but burns regular fuel. This vehicle wants regular oil changes, filters change and scheduled maintenance performed.

I think it’s a great all around vehicle and they last forever

4th gen 4runners are a big mid-size SUV. Their truck-like body on frame construction makes them a really sturdy companion. Reliability has been great, I haven't used it off road, but it is very comfy on road, and for a high, heavy vehicule, roadholding is quite good. lots of cargo space and rear seat legroom is very good.

Lots of space, fast truck (max speed 116 - governer kicks in), tows trailer great. Very stable!

This car is perfect for us. Reliable, big enough, 4WD, well taken care of, everything works, no rust, interior in good shape...

If you're looking for a mid size SUV, get a 4Runner V6. It has timing chain and sealed auto transmission, which equals no maintenance required except for oil changes every 5k miles. Just wish they made these with 3rd row seats.

This truck/SUV class vehicle is known for top of the line quality. Engine performance on the V6 is sufficient for normal driving conditions. Steering around corners is acceptable when driving appropriate for road conditions. Quality is unquestionably the most compelling feature. Keep up with the maintenance and you'll have a vehicle that will maintain a very robust resale value. Gas mileage is adequate, better than the large gas guzzling SUV's and within range of the small lightweight SUV's. TCO is relatively low.

I drove 800 miles round trip to discover the car was likely flood damaged and completely rusted out underneath.

Wish it was 4WD, but we purchased it anyway. These are great cars and hard to find in this price range with under 200k miles on them.

I bought this reliable fun 4Runner used in with 196000 miles in 2018 and have done regular maintenance with repairs costing far less yearly than a car payment. Traveled 40,000 miles and my biggest con is the price of gas and need to fix air conditioning.

Fit a full size mattress or 5 people in the back and still runs very strong. You will love it when you are moving and you will hate it when you ty to parallel park downhill in SF.

The acceleration is awesome, the braking on a dime. The saftey features sold me F and R and Side and Curtain airbags, This is a fun car to drive. The car handles a little ruff like a truck sometimes but always maintains contact with the road. THe pwr ourlet in the back came in handy on a number of ocassions.
