About 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Overview
The variety afforded by the Silverado 1500 line of trucks all but guarantees that it would be broken down into 15 different models by any other maker. However, Chevy knows its customers, knows the customers love the Silverado, and know that its customers love choices.
The line of 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500s includes a variety of engines, including a hybrid. A 195-horsepower 4.3-liter V6 is the base engine, but few consumers choose that one (comments include "wimpy," and "why is this in a truck this size??") The SS is more popular the with 345-horsepower, 6.0-liter V8 which gets 380 lb/ft of torque.
The Silverado drives like what it is: a truck. It is powerful and reasonably comfortable. Its ruggedness is well-known and respected.

The Silverado LT 3LT is the perfect truck. It has the right amount of power and torque. It tows fantastic. It is quick from stop light to stop light. And it has convenience features that are still missing in most of todays pickups. It has leather seats. It has a moonroof and so much more.

This truck has great pickup and throttle response even though it has a 4.8L V-8. Has a low ride height that makes it easy to get in and out of. It seats 5 adults, 4 comfortably. No issues since it was bought with 6 miles on it. Factory chrome package, HD towing and 17" wheels on a blue granite base.

Can't beat the reliability of a chevy. The 5.3 motor will not let you down. It has a mix of power and economy. Push button four wheel drive is a must have. Fog lights help out a lot with seeing the deer on the road.

We've owned this truck for just over 3 years and it has just over 100 k miles. It runs great and has decent power. I like the interior design just wish GM had spent a few bucks more on some better feeling leather/ plastics. Our kids love the sunroof one nice days and there are plenty of aftermarket support to customize it just how I want it.
