When the 1 series first was introduced, I really hated the looks of it. after a few months of gettig used to it I learned to appreciate it, and when the M-sports package was available I just loved it! The handling of the car is really amazing, the 50/50 weight balance combined with RWD ensure that this is the best driver's car in its class. 122bhp isn't that much but sufficient for daily use. I did choose to get it tuned however, so today it's got about 160bhp, now it really drives like small sportscar. the chassis of this car deserves a powerful engine! Never had any major issues with this car, except after 2 monthsof owning the car the driving shaft somtimes made a popping sound when changing from 1st to reverse gear & vice versa. Dealership already was familiar with this issue for the 1 seriesso it was solved the next day and never experienced this problem again! Great car, but it is quite expensive

Performance – acceleration, braking, handling = All amazing Build Quality – Build is superb, it only needed repairs due to an accident. Appearance – is sexy and very appealing to the eye. have had many ppl compliment me on it.... Cost of Ownership – due to the fact that it is a 3.0L car, it is slighty heavy on fuel, yet it also depends hw u drive Fun Factor – best car i have driven other than my Ferrrari

Great car, very good looking with the M sport pack on it. Good performance, although it was power-limited for tax purposes. Nice and finished interior, although a bit small, as it is a hatchback. Rock hard suspension, but you get used to it and it allows good cornering.

Assets Fantastically good to drive, distinctive good looks, five-star NCAP crash test score, grips the road, makes some nice noise, 5 doors, 17" alloys Drawbacks hard drive due to sport suspension and run flat tires, more expensive than class rivals, low MPG Verdict " In a class that tends toward the worthy and dull, here is a feelgood car with a real difference "
