Absolutely amazing car. Performance that can run with the best of them at a used car price. People will confuse it for a $100k car all the time. People take pictures as you drive around. If you don't like attention, this is not the car for you. Absolute dream to drive.

I love the way the car handles and the fun small sporty look. The hard top convertible is great. I have had the rag top and this is so much better. It has Impressive trunk room for a sports car

Purchased as used with just over 19,000 miles. It's a beautiful car that was well kept by the previous owner.

Although it is only 163bhp the 200K moves you swiftly along with ease. In comfort mode the gearbox can be a little slow to respond to kick-down however this is all removed when you select sport mode. It becomes much more responsive and even the slightest touch of the throttle it will go down a gear or two. When left in this mode the 5-speed box will let you go all the way to the red line before changing up... check your speedometer at this point, you'll be going faster than you think! Steering is nice and weighty with a very good direct feel. Seats are a little hard but for what it is they are quite supportive. Everything feels nice and solid inside, however the look and feel of the dashboard is a little cheap however you aren't going to be paying too much attention to that when driving - you'll be having far too much fun. Appearance - far more masculine-looking than the R170, the R171 has an air of the SLR about it, especially from the front. You can also see echoes of its big brother the SL from certain angles. A very beautiful and elegant car, and although it looks a lot more manly than the previous one I'm afraid it's still a bit too girly for some men. Cost of Ownership - Fuel is the biggest issue here. 32mpg on moderate longish drives however if I'm feeling particularly frugal I can get 38mpg. Fun Factor - The sound of the exhaust note will put a smile on your face day in day out. You'll be hunting for tunnels to drive through and look for any excuse to go out with the roof down! Performance - 8/10 Build Quality - 9/10 Appearance - 10/10 Cost of Ownership - 6/10 Fun Factor - 10/10
