The ST looks more aggressive when the silver grille insert is swapped out with the black one from the SES. I can't give a 5-star rating on the build since there's a LOT of plastic in the interior and unfortunately made more on the "cheap side" causing it to break more easily than in other models. I can only give 4-stars for the 'appearance' category since the black rear-bumper insert doesn't have provisions for a second exhaust tip. This requires fabrication on the user-end. Performance-wise, this car hauls ass and is about as quick as a Mustang GT when purchased as the ST package. On long road trips, a trip to Austin and back was made on only one tank of gas and totalled 408 miles. The Fun Factor increases considerable when adding performance parts from www.steedafocus.com and www.focussport.com. If you're a gearhead, opt in for the Cosworth build-up kits.

Though a watered down version of the Focus SVT which is the Focus RS of Europe the Focus ST is very strong for being a small sedan. This car has taken a massive beating in terms of getting rear ended and all I have needed was a new bumper. It's performance is second to none as it pops right off the line and can stop to match. Its handling is very well with the Macpherson suspension and the control blade IRS. Its appearance is very Euro to its twin over the pond though its interior is one of its own kind the only difference between it and its Euro Twin. Its easy on fuel and the repairs have been few and far between. I enjoy driving this car very much its a great starter car.

Excellent handling and brakes Excellent stereo (Audiophile system) Engine note gets a little tiresome Love the seats Almost as quick as the SVT but can run on regular gas Looks like a regular Focus- this can be good or bad depending on your point of view

So far I think its a great car. Powers decent, handles good,and brakes good. Looks good and the rims aren't bad.
