Performance=good for a diesel with the 140hp engine Build Quality=is down frm the mk4 unfortunatly but still impressive Appearance=Is better than previous model but is not as good looking as the astra cost of ownership=bout average fuel economy is impressive fun factor=not a f430 but it does put a smile on u face when u tear away from boy racers in clio's n corsa's

I had a Jeep Wrangler before this, so going from Off-roading to No-roading was kind of heartbreaking. But, it is a speedy car, it gets great gas mileage and it is a Turbo Diesel.

Now mounted with 18" rims, it kindda compensates for the estate construction which IMO makes the IV-series look somehow obsolete... But those 18" rims,,, mmm... Just need a wee lowering on that wheel suspension someday..

This car has been virtually maintaince free for 120k. It now has a weird rattle. If that gets fixed then I think I can get another 80k out of it. Only problem with car has been 17 year old son, who keeps running it into things. Now it has numerous little dents.
