Overview

Perhaps sensing the imminent end of the EuroVan's run due to sluggish sales, Volkswagen left the 2003 versions of its front-engined passenger van virtually unchanged from the previous couple of years. The 2003 EuroVans were powered by a 201-horsepower, 2.8-liter V6 engine, which was linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. There was no manual transmission option.
Two versions were available. The EuroVan GLS came with air conditioning, power windows, power heated mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, and an anti-theft alarm system.
The MV added a rear bench that converted into a bed and rearward-facing bucket seats in the middle row. The MV could also be outfitted to resemble the old Campmobile, with a refrigerator, bed, and pop-up roof.
Despite the fact that sales were slow, drivers who bought the EuroVan were generally pleased with it, calling it a fun, sporty vehicle to drive, with a smooth ride and plenty of room for a big family. On the downside, drivers noted that the EuroVan was noisy and tended to need frequent repairs.

Great starter camper. Prices may seem high, but vehicles hold their value well
