I love my Rodeo. It is paid off now for several years and the maintenance required has been minimal--oil/owners manual typical recommended maintenance and tires every once in a while. The four wheel drive is excellent in winter. Plus it is a truck on a real frame not some uni-body construction that all the magazines rave about in the suburban SUV's. Always reliable accept for the throttle position sensor which was just fixed by replacing the whole throttle body at the dealer. Dealer says he sells a lot of throttle bodies for these. Oh well I can spend a little to keep her going--no car payments now for several years. Never been off road so not sure how it goes there but I would not hesitate--it is a solid reliable truck!
