While it didn't change drastically in 2003, the Yukon XL did make some noteworthy improvements. GMC added Quadrasteer for improved steering and higher towing capacity. Well 2003 still driving, 177,500 miles should tell you this is a well made vehicle. Has held up well, very little rust, problems. Leather Interior has held up extremely well!!! I still love this truck..just now starting to have to put some money into it...

We loved this Yukon. We made about 3 or 4 memorable family trips in this suv. It took Josh and family to hockey games and tournaments. It was a great car for long distance travel with family. But it crap out at 134,000 miles after I babied it for 6 years. I changed the oil regularly. I fixed all problems quickly (fuel sensors with out, air condition fouled up, tune up at regular intervals) but the final straw was the engine started knocking in January 2009 and needed new engine. BUMMER!!!! ;-( I wanted to keep this vehicle for a long long time.
