The 1999-2003 f series trucks with the 7.3 liter diesel engine are hands down the greatest longest lasting diesel trucks ever produced

We love the way that the truck drives down the highway, handles pulling trailers and the looks of the truck. It gets good fuel mileage. It was not in the shop much at all. If you take care of a diesel it will last for years and years. We ordered the truck 11 years ago just the way we wanted it and still love it.

2003 F350 crew cab 4x4 King Ranch with 6.8 V10... owned since new. Love everything about it performance-wise except for the 3.73 axle, should have got the 4.30 because from what i hear it doesn't kill the fuel mileage on this truck. this is my 3rd ford V10 and i swear by them... plenty of power, as reliable as a swiss watch, and cheap to own and maintain. the fuel mileage is NOT that bad considering the size either... before 35" tires i could do 12 in town and 18 hwy at 60 mph. after very heavy 35's i'm doing 10 in town and 14.5 hwy.

So far this truck has been great for my family and I. Gets great milage and range on a full tank of fuel, 4 door cab is great for kids and dog. Have not found any job that it cannot do yet. Many upgrades available for it and easy to get. I would recomend this truck to anyone looking for a god family/work truck.
