Overview

The 2003 RL was Acura's top-of-the-line luxury sedan. New for 2003 were redesigned alloy wheels. The engine remained the same as 2002: a 3.5-liter V6 rated at 225 horsepower and 241 lb-ft of torque.
The 2003 RL comes standard with leather seats, wood trim, and OnStar. The engine takes only premium gasoline, and gets 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
Drivers continue to laud the handling of the 2003 RL, including the smooth ride and tight cornering for a large car. They do not like the poor mileage and expensive gas.

There is nothing about my car I dislike. I get many positive comments about my car and the wheels I put on the car. This car drives like a dream and is a joy to drive. At 123,000+ and counting, this my car drives as new.

I did not realize this car was so quiet to drive. There are no blind spots when driving. Performance is quick and the braking and handling are easy to use. This is a very safe car to drive. The leather interior and wood grain is very comfortable and stylish.

This is my all time best car ever. I bought it as a certified pre-owned in 2006 and it has been reliable until this year. All of a sudden there are about $2,000 worth of maintenance items that I am told need to be done because it has 108,000 miles. On top of that, the starter is acting up, or at least the mechanic I took it to thought it might be the starter. Ouch! The ride is smooth, the power is just right and it handles fine. I love the way the car looks and drives. I am retired now and the maintenance costs are really a lot for me to shell out. I have to keep it in good working order.
