The S Runner was the sporty model, offering sport-tuned suspension. Fuel economy was about 17/20 mpg.

I believe that first gen tacomas are becoming classics. The future’s are good for its era. The value is inflated due to their popularity. Nothing missing, it is a 2001. Compared to the dodge dakota

Has held up well for over 150k miles with some minor repairs. Paint is a little pealy on the bumper but overall in good shape. This truck has been ridden hard and used for moving many items. The appearance is very average for a pick up truck (nothing fancy). I like the black color for this little truck. The cab is not very roomy but adequate for 2 passengers. It has held up well for it's 8 years through very severe Wisconsin winters. Has been left parked outdoors for it's whole life and has always started like a champ.

Great dependable truck. I had the imperial green color which i thought was just gorgeous after a fresh coat of wax. Truck handles excellent and gets 24 mpg consistently.
