Reviewed a 2002 Honda Base on Apr 15, 2007

This vehicle is as basic as it gets. It reminds me of riding in an old Ford Pinto.(Too far back for a lot of you, huh?) It gets between 48 to 58 miles to the gallon depending upon whether I am driving or my wife is. I just had the battery pack replaced @ 48,000. miles to the tune of @ $5,000.00. For the Pros: The brake pads still look brand new. It helps minimize middle eastern oil imports. Easy to wash. For the Cons: Oil change hindered by under panel. Tires are Expensive. It eats them @ every 25,000 miles. The seats are god-awful uncomfortable. Lots of road noise. Plus above battery maintenance.
