Overall great compact car, pleasure to drive. My wife used it for a daily commute to work and really enjoyed it. Easy drive, great gas mileage and a German quality built to last for years and years. Very comfortable ride, easy to park anywhere and a great turning radius, a must when driving and parking in downtown.

Despite the electrical misfits of this VW year (2001) model, I love my car and will drive it to the ground! I would buy another VW, as this is my second one already. It's affordable, it's gas efficient, and it's comfortable. Did I mention it's fun to drive, too? Especially if it's a manual, like mine is.

There was nothing I did not like about the car except I wanted one more gear in the transmission. Oh, and we outgrew it. it is tight for a family of 4. no problem at all for 3. I will miss it.
