Sally's been really amazing to me. Gifted to me 7 y/a 175,000 miles. I wasn't a fan of mustangs after 1968 or convertibles. Would highly recommend keeping as original mechanically. I believe that is why she's a strong B.

One of the cleaner designs of the late model Mustangs. No gingerbread or unnecessary wings, spoilers, or the hideous "running boards" found on the other models. I added a Cobra IRS and 2001 Cobra 4 cam engine, so it runs and handles a bit better than it did stock. Very enjoyable car to drive on a daily basis.

performance is good, handles like its on rails, which surprised me considering the aging live rear axle. 0-60 in around 5 flat ran the 1/4 mile in 13.7 at 101 when it was stock. Great subtle looks, Breaks are amazing because of the upgraded cobra brakes that come standard with the bullitt. I own number 2735

This car is pure american muscle. great acceleration, good handling, and very good braking. The exterior is clean, sleek, and looks like it's fast. Gas mileage isn't that bad if you drive right... which i don't, and it's not very high maintenance even though I make it seem that way (i baby it). Very fun car to drive

fiberglass hood with roush racing shaker, strut tower brace, k&n filters, b&m short throw shifter, b&m hammer shifter, angel eye projector headlights, sequential tail lights, 3:31 gears, kumho racing tires. fun to drive, fast and can burnout through third gear. real headturner.

2001 proved to be a very exciting year for Mustang aficionados. The 2001 Ford Mustang was available with a number of powerful engines and new trims. The best-known was probably the Bullitt Mustang, named after the 1968 Mustang GT driven by Steve McQueen when he played the detective who gave his last name to the movie "Bullitt."

The standard engine for 2001 was a 3.8-liter OHV V6, rated at 190 horsepower. The GT and Bullitt each had a 4.6-liter SOHC V8, rated at 260 and 265 horsepower, respectively, while the Cobra had a 4.6-liter DOHC V8 capable of 320 horsepower.
