The Ford Fiesta is a great little car and has been ever since it was released! My Fiesta, the Mk5, has improved looks and styling to the Mk4 and Mk3 models, even though underneath, it still roles on the same Mk3 chassis. Performance - Even though its the smallest engine in the Mk5 range, my 1.25l 16vZetec engine is a nippy little beast! Ok, so the 0-60 time is 12 seconds, but for a 1.25, thats not too shabby and the engine noise as standard sounds pretty grunty as well. Handling wise, the car has so much grip in the corners thanks to its setup and the fact that it only weighs 920kg!!! Body roll is minimal and is probably one of the best handling superminis of its time. Build Quality - Only drove it 550 miles, but so far so good. From the service history, it seems it hasn't had a single problem apart from the usual maintainance parts. Driving it at the moment and it has no weird exhaust noises, engine problems, still moves as well as I first had it! Appearance - The styling is still quite funky today even if the design is a little oudated now. I personally love the spoiler on the back though! :) Costs - Cheap to run, cheap to insure (if I was older,) cheap, cheap, cheap!!! The most simple car anyone could want for a first car. Fun? - Hell YES! Although I've only drove this and a Mini One, but for now, yes!!!

this is a good little city/town car. do not buy if you do a lot of motorway driving ans it sits at high revs gets to 100mph with ease then you fade out 125 is the max i have had out of it.

1.25 black edition. Great spec with AC, ABS, Power steering, Leather seats and chrome and silver trim. loads of time spent on modifying and a nice return of 90bhp (not bad for a 1.25). Modifications, new pistons, port polishing, 10mm HT leads & super 4s, Pipercross forced air induction and oil breather, 4inch jamsport jap cat back, lightweight battery, Mutant speaker boot build and green neon lighting (chavin' it up), 15" Kei lightweight Force 10 alloys, various external body kit parts with zetec-s bumpers and M3 skirts

Looks great, sounds very nice, the inside looks a little basic however it does have air conditioning, front electric windows and a CD player. The tax is quite a lot for the engine size due to the emissions, however if you want a small but nippy nice looking run around car that has some guts, this is ideal.
