The 2001 Chevrolet Blazer added a new trim to its lineup. Safety features like dual airbags, ABS anti-lock brakes, and rear child safety locks addressed the concerns of soccer moms and suburbanites; drivers with a more outdoorsy bent opted for the four-wheel drive versions, carrying on the Chevy offroad truck tradition.
