The LH-body Dodge Intrepids, which combine Chrysler's cab-forward design and the movement of the wheels to the four corners of the body, are a classic example of maximizing space and economy into a reliable, attractive package. The Intrepids share a chassis with the Chrysler 300 of the same model years. Very few problems are noted with these vehicles except for the necessity of punctual oil changes on the 2.7L engined models, which use a hydraulic timing chain tensioner that is set based on oil pressure.
