Extremely solid truck, gives the driver a good connection to the road, parts are cheap and common. I've always loved the way S10s look and they also have a wide array of aftermarket available. Interior is great. Insurance is cheap. Cab room doesn't allow for a lot of room for transporting people. 2 adults are comfortable but add a child and it becomes tight, real fast. 3 adults is fairly uncomfortable. A lot of sandbags are need for winter traction on 2WD. 2.2L I4 is slow to accelerate, 4.3L V6 is much improved in that category.

For a truck has pretty damn good handling and acceleration. Braking is so so could use an upgrade. Gas mileage is not so good get around 18 when i drive normal and about 25 when im driving like a grandma thats 50/50 city/highway

real nice looking but a 2.2L aint fast at all lowered 4/3 was a 2/3 and dropped it more real good truck nothing serious thats went wrong but the alternators at the bottom of the engine so its hard to get to

Its very fun to drive, but can be a hassel when you have to drive people around since theres only two seats, i bought it myself for $2500, LOVEE the Rear Wheel Drive especially in winter is alot of fun. it drives like a car but turns and parks like a truck, i dont have alot of ground clearance with it either, so its just like a car but without the backseat and a bed in the back
