It's slow, ugly and uncomfortable- but it gets 45 miles per gallon, never breaks down, and has plenty of room for dogs, with the back seat folded down. I'll be the first guy in the universe to restore a 1.0L Metro, someday!

i love that my car is sturdy. but i hate that it is dented and dinged among other things. it is great on gas and only takes $20-30 to fill tank. my car is extremely small but it is so fun to drive and is easy to back into parking spaces.

I like how funny this car is to mess with people. It actually has some getup and go going from 0-50mph, however, once you pass even 40mph it's out of the competition, but it's still fun to play with, especially from a dead stop. Seeing how its only a 3cyl engine and only 1.0l it's power is quite good for the small size of the engine. The car only has 13in tires but there's definitely room for some nice 15's. I live in Maine and this car actually handles in the snow as good as a 2004 Ford Escape and better than most tuner cars. Hills KILL this car almost immediately, and even downshifting and punching it will cause acceleration to halt and even get slower on just medium sized hills. If you find a nice metro with low miles on it, I would say grab it, I paid 1300$ for mine and put 500$ into it, so 1,800$ for a car with only 50,000 on it that was a steal, not to mention 30$ will fill your 11 gallon tank and last atleast 400 miles and save you tons in gas. Overall, a fun, reliable, and awesome little car that is a great first car, or even a fun project that could leave you with a beast car.
