The Isuzu Trooper in my mind belongs in a different class than many many other SUV's. This vehicle unlike the Toyota Rav4 and Honda CRV isn't merely a CAR with bigger tires and a minivan like shape. The trooper is one that can handle the off road should you choose to take it there. I don't actually own this vehicle but have driven and ridden in it enough time to know the in and outs of this truck. The trooper features and four wheel drive system called T.O.D.- Torque on demand, and let me tell you, it is incredible in the snow. If you switch the truck into four wheel auto it will direct and small percentage of power up to the front wheels which reduces gas consumption. On the other hand, the all time all wheel drive system on the Jeep Grand Cherokee is in use even when it is not needed. When the front Trooper detects wheel slip in the rear wheels, it transfers more power up to both or just one of the front wheels. It even has a neat display in the instrument panel that lets you know how much power is going up to the front. The T.O.D. system can be activated at any time, even while driving as long as you are not going faster than 35 miles per hour and the transition from two to four wheel drive is seamless.

No matter the miles or the condition , I thought it was way overpriced . If the market can bear that price I will be greatly surprised,
