Used 1998 Ford Explorer for Sale near Woodland Hills, CA

First and foremost, as far as performance goes, its transmission is shot, brakes are good and handling is close to perfect. My ford jerks alot when in motion but it doesn't rattle or spueak. The color is dark green with no dents or paint chips but the interior is a little lacking.

i really like my explorer. regardless of the fact that it may in fact, one day, actually explode. it's very comfortable and it was really almost like new when i bought it. gas sucks

Overall the 98 Limited Explorer 4WD is a decent vehicle. Little things keep it from being great.The Power door lock button(driver side especially)often stops working. THE REAR WINDSHIELD WIPER SUCKS!!Cant believe Ford has not recalled the vehicle for virtually all years just for the rear windshield wiper! Does ANYONE have a Ford explorer with a rear windshield wiper that does work? Also,tires will regularly develop a scalop that makes a wom wom wom noise as it goes down the street. Front end allignments help but do not stop the problem.Rotating tires to get them going in the opposite direction does help, but doesnt stop the problem completely. In spite of these faults its still seems like a fairly good vehicle for the money.There are a ton of them on the road,parts fit many model years and the supply of parts is plentiful. There you have it, thats my review.And if the 98 Explorer Limited 4WD that i just bought falls apart, i will definitely write another review. Thank you and happy Exploring.
