Saturn added continuity to the 1996 Saturn S-Series by reducing the number of welded parts and increasing frame strength. Cargo capacity comes out to 10.9 cubic feet in the coupes, 12.1 cubic feet in the sedans, and 24.9 in the wagons (49 cubic feet with the back seat down). Air conditioning comes as an option in all trims. After the upgrade to the 100 hp base engine in 1995, Saturn decided to focus more on frame strength. Drivers like the changes and appreciate the conservative gas consumption. On the other hand, they would still like to see better oil consumption, better interior materials, and less engine noise.
