Plenty of power from the 4.3 vortec. Automatic transmission. I had wider tires on it and it cornered great. Flowmaster 40 single in/ dual out. Sounds great that way. Fun truck and kind of miss it. The 96 to early 98 trucks are awsome.

Truck handles good for stock suspension and for a SUV its pretty good on the performance side. Overall a solid vehicle with little draw back except for the gas mileage you get. GMC really knows how to muck great vehicles.

i like that its comfortable and handles well but it is extremely small and feels like it would tip kind of easy its not the best lookin and it doesnt have a solid front axle but the build qualitl of it is good and its reliable

it has lots of power, okay acceleration, brakes are pretty soggy, handles solid, buttons dont all work, 4 wheel drive doesnt work, so it looks great but only about half of everything works. it is a great little suv, would be the perfect vehicle if i could get some things fixed.
