(7 reviews)This car has only 188hp stock, but its's a 95 passat vr6. Plenty of trunk space. 1st and 2nd gear pull hard, but after that it shows its only got 188hp. If taken care of this car can last forever.
I loved my passat it was a drivers car even tho it wasnt the fastest it was a true performance car.The handling was unbelievable the braking was excellent . The car was pretty heavy at 3200 lbs but the vr6 motor moved the car sufficiently enough. Once the car got rolling on the high way it was like an 18 wheeler on I95 the car loved to be driven fast on the highway. The gas mileage was very good , The only down fall to this car and all Volkswagons is just the price of parts . Even tho the car didnt brake that much when it did it cost a pretty penny to fix, also the electrical system is a little funny .
Junk, never buy one, i had to replace a crap ton of items on it. it never ran right, always had a check engine light, always misfired, Rack went, coil, wires, cvjoint, heater core, ignition switch thermostat housing, seat rail, window regulator. and i only had the car 6 months
I boosted it and added AWD.It was my baby til some lady ran a stop sign while on her phone, looking at a bike and t-boned me. I was pissed not worried about myself just my car! It was totaled :( I had sever air bag burns on my face for a while and a baddly brused chest. Plus there was no fixing my baby. And It was 7/7/05 to
This was one of my most amazingl cars. It handled beautifully. Big engine, cornered like it was on rails. Stopped on a dime. You could zip in and out of traffic without anyone seeing you. A true German touring sedan has to have manual transmission, which is ALL I drive. The deep pearly hunter green exterior with the creamy beige leather interior was just luxurious. I drove that baby right off the show floor! If it hadn't been burying me in payments - I would have kept it. I LOVED that car! Yeah, can't really keep a $30K car, when you are only making $18K/yr and have a boyfriend who expects $900 birthday presents and $2K Christmas presents. So, I solved two of the problems. Dumped the boyfriend and traded in the car for something a bit more affordable.
