I love the size of this truck and it can go anywhere. I wish it had a little more power and better gas milage, but other than that it is great.

i have the 6 cylinder ext. cab. 4 wheel drive. i love it. 175k miles. keep the oil changed and i'll bet it lasts forever. the only downside i've ever had with it - and it's not much of a downside - is that you have to keep the speed down in heavy rain - i always feel i'm near the point of hydroplaning. other than that - it's a great truck. i've hauled all the usual stuff - stone, sand, brick, firewood. drove it in snow-heavy NW PA - never a problem.

Lifted a little, expensive aftermarket shocks. Toyota makes a good product.

this truck has been one tough truck. with the V6 gives the truck more then enough power to get threw the worst of things along with the 4WD its unstoppable. handling was pretty call like and had no issues with it due to it havening independent suspension. the truck had just now at 22223229 miles showing its age and needed a bit of work . as for gas mileage its a truck and got at the pump 17 highway and about 15 city. this trucks cab was not to big but yet not as small as a tacoma, with good shifter placement and adjustable stearing made the drive comfortable. though with out AC this truck was a bit warm durring the summer but the winters were takeing in strides with the heater . if i could find another one in good shape i would go for it to night.
