I need to replace the shifter bushings in the 5 speed on my 1995 T100 v-6, Is it a model 150? or a w59 model. Any good source for a better bushing than OEM? tks

It has been dependable and has carried a lot of cargo.Very good V6 .You can really feel at ease with dependable toyota quality and durability. It is the right size for me not too big or small. This truck gets about 23 hwy and 20 city with the 5 speed manual gearbox, being very dependable. One big draw back on this truck is every 60000 you have to change the timing belt.Jul 22, 2014

R.I.P my old t 100 it sits in my back yard... it rolled down a hill after my parking brake failed and it flipped down the hill in my back alley i wants to happy when i saw my truck gone and i look ed around and i noticed it was down the hil up side down ever since then i have built a garage and and keep my truck in thereAug 24, 2008

this truck has been one tough truck.
with the V6 gives the truck more then enough power to get threw the worst of things along with the 4WD its unstoppable.
handling was pretty call like and had no issues with it due to it havening independent suspension.
the truck had just now at 22223229 miles showing its age and needed a bit of work . as for gas mileage its a truck and got at the pump 17 highway and about 15 city.
this trucks cab was not to big but yet not as small as a tacoma, with good shifter placement and adjustable stearing made the drive comfortable. though with out AC this truck was a bit warm durring the summer but the winters were takeing in strides with the heater . if i could find another one in good shape i would go for it to night. i have the 6 cylinder ext. cab. 4 wheel drive. i love it. 175k miles. keep the oil changed and i'll bet it lasts forever. the only downside i've ever had with it - and it's not much of a downside - is that you have to keep the speed down in heavy rain - i always feel i'm near the point of hydroplaning. other than that - it's a great truck. i've hauled all the usual stuff - stone, sand, brick, firewood. drove it in snow-heavy NW PA - never a problem. 4 wheel drive stopped working while using it
I had recently gotten stuck while my 4 wheel drive was already engaged and while trying to get it unstuck I heard a click noise in the front right wheel and the 4 stopped working there is this bar with the cushion spring looking stuff going from I'm guessing the 4 wheel box to the front right tire but that is loose and rattles around while driving

95 T100 extended cab 4x4 with A/T shifts out of O/D in head wind
I recently bought this truck, it has 170,000 miles, 32X11.50X15 tires, and a 3" body lift and runs great, but it is constantly down shifting when driving into a head wind. It feels like a lack of power. I thought that maybe the tires were too big and I might need to change to lower gears until I found out the gears that the T100 came with are 4.10 or 4.30, so that can't be the problem. The truck is averaging 14.5 mpg but if the wind is blowing it averages 13.5 mpg. Could this be a bad tranny. I've had the tranny oil light come on twice when fighting a strong head wind. I am installing a transmission oil cooler today to take care of that problem.

What made the truck accelerate and not resond
All of a sudden today, when my fiance stepped on the gas while pulling away, the engine too of on it's own, wide open to the extreme the brakes didn't phase it, shifting into lower then lowest gear didn't show it at all, then reverse didn't effect it. It stayed we open and uncontrollable. Twice it did it tonight. What happened?? And why does only shutting off key work and nothing else to slow it down.
