The 4.0 high output I-6 coupled with the Aisin- Warner AX15 5-speed manual is an unbeatable drive train. Suspension flex is ok, but would be better with jks disconnects and removal of the rear sway bar. The rear dana 35 axle is sturdy and the np242 transfer case solidly shifts into both 4hi and 4lo.

I can go trails' ablazin and actually get around in the snow. The radio randomly turns off when it wants to and it's always neat to see oxidizing metal fall off the quarter panels. But it's got the 318 and aftmarket dana 44's.

Good mileage about 24 mpg. Fun to drive in the mud.Handles good drives well. Had the fan clutch and thermostat go out. Now i may be having the water pump going out on me not really for sure. I love my jeep!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All and all I love this car it's run nicely for me except an old hose or two but upkeep is easy and she would be the best car ever if she wasn't always so thirsty.but this car gets you where you need to go and it might not be lightening fast but you will get there!
