Used 1993 Volvo 940 for Sale near Kingston Mines, IL

I love this car, but it would not have been my choice if I hadn't been given the car as a present. The Volvo 940 Wentworth is the most reliable car of it's calss and for the year it is fantastic condition. It's not the best looking car, but I can't fault the reliablity, the only thing that has been done to this car in 15 years is the head gasket and that only cost £488 and that was with service and cam belt change. Once you turn the key on this car, you realise that for a 2.0 ltr engine, it has some power under the bonnet. The Turbo is only the size of a five pence piece, but when you put your foot down, be carefull or you will be in alot of trouble, because it only has a small turbo, it has next to lagg and that results in instant power. It also comes with leather interior, a/c, e/w, e/m, c/l, alarm(cat 1), heated seats etc. If you pay attention to what you are doing, this car is alot of fun to drive and it is very comfortable. It's only downside is fuel, it likes a drink and will empty a tank of fuel(75 ltrs) in about 200 miles if you floor it everywhere, but it is not too bad as long as you use the power it has sensebly.

It's a tank, and it's solid...solid ... SOLID. Volvo's are well known for thier tank like qualities, and this car does little to dispell such stories. It's reliable, it appears to have been machined out of a solid lump of steel, and it's incredibly comfortable. Further good points. The Volvo is very easy to drive, the brakes are a little snatchy to begin with, but once youre used to things, they're no problem at all. M A S S I V E ammount or room in the boot, I mean... HUGE, you could park and AUDI in there, it's cavernous. Heated seats, electric windows and a solid feel to everything makes for a very reassuring drive. Downside is, £80 to fill the tank, and that last's about a fortnight of short distance commuting. the Turbo is a little smokey now, and acceleration from stationary is far from legendary. Parts can be pricey, and the body work, once bent, STAYS bent without expensive trips to the panel beaters.
