When it got going could really shift. cornering was an adventure. It breaked okay for a lump. Solid build but looked ugly as hell. Fun to drive if you got brass balls. Comfy ride especially on motorways, just DONT CORNER ABOVE 30

One of the last models of rwd Volvos. This 1996 was a police-special with some modifications. B230FT with intercooler worked fine together with Aisin-Warner 4sp automatic transmission. Nice acceleration, reliable brakes and handling. Will start effortless below -35c. Besides service the only repairs were a hose and a fuel pump. Sold in favour for a new Megane after 380 000 km - soo stupid.
