Used 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300-Class for Sale near Dallas, TX
A bump in power was the big news for the 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300-class models. While retaining the 300-Class designation, several models, including the 300CE Coupe, the 300TE Wagon, and the 300CE Cabriolet, received a new 3.2-liter, inline 6-cylinder engine that produced 217 hp.
The result, many drivers have noted, were cars with plenty of power, especially at highway speeds. Matched with a responsive suspension, luxurious appointments, and timeless styling, it made for an enjoyable driving experience -- with the minor exception that there are no cup holders for that morning cup of coffee or afternoon soft drink.
A 4-speed transmission was standard across the model range, which also included 300D sedan, the 300E sedan, the TE 4-MATIC wagon, and a number of other variations. Other standard equipment included power door locks, power windows, and air conditioning. Leather seats were standard on the CE Coupe, CE Cabriolet, and E 4-MATIC Sedan, and optional on the other models. A sunroof was also available as an option across the model range.

(21 reviews)No cup-holders? Ha!!! Who needs them?!?!? With a ride this smooth, you just set the drink down, really. Diesel means this 4600 pound behemoth gets well over 30 miles per gallon on the freeway. S Class Mercedes are the pinnacle of luxury and this no different. You'd be amazed at the feature list for a 1993 model. This shouldn't be classified as a "300-Class".... this is an S-Class.
One of the best Mercedes that was ever made. Google around and you will learn more about this last "over-engineered" car... great car!! Very comfortable ride for both driver and passenger, galvanized steel body for extra protection (look for the crash test video.. OMG), excellent fuel economy for the size, just great
Driving a European version 3.2 300E (W124). Loads of neat touches, designed and constructed with Teutonic efficiency. A load of room inside, great ride, fun to drive, sits very well on the road. Current priced used 300's give a lot of car for the money. Fuel mileage is good for a large car, I get 25 mpg doing 80-90+.
I love this ride old but still smooth and great fuel milage solid car and very quiet on the inside Benz quality would buy another one in a heart beat Even tho is have alot of miles still runs great and solid
A very reliable car. Good gas mileage, and it rarely needs any service. It accelerates very slow, but it is still nice. Pretty good safety too. That is all.
