Used 1993 Ford Ranger XLT for Sale near Mount Pulaski, IL

This was my first vehicle. Given it's size, age, and vehicle class, had good acceleration and power with good mileage from the 4.0L V6. I've driven the smaller engine sizes and there's a significant difference between the two. I put about 30,000 miles on it in the 4 or 5 years I had it, and put really worked it, and never had any problems. Not the best mileage or the most power or best looking mid-size in its class, but very solid marks all around.

Great overall vehicle, my father bought it new in 1993 and gave it to me when I turned 16, and I have been driving it for 3 years now. It has 180,000 miles on it today. Really love this truck, it is great in even the harshest winters. There is no rust anywhere to be found, even though half the time it is parked outside, even in the winter and it never fails to start. It does not get very good gas mileage, but it is still a great daily driver.

No top speed.Fun to drive especially if you enjoy driving stick. but it will not go fast at all. cost of ownership is definitely cheap and i would recomend to anyone. Fuel efficiency is definitely great especially for a truck

Ford Rangers are very reliable trucks. They handle great in snow and on ice. The 2wd's are even great in the mud. The motors are very reliable. Mine has a little over 237k on the 4.0v 6, and its never been rebuilt and it doesnt burn a drop of oil.
