rover metro gti with 1.8 vvc engine uprated suspension and brakes stripped out in back sportex race exhaust 4 branch manifold bigger throttle bodie ported and polished head running 200bhp and when the car only weighs 750kg this mean thats its very fast and keep with /beat more exotic machinery and very cheap to do a conversion.the car is awsome to drive but would not be for the feint hearted or scary cats because doing a 145mph plus in a rover metro takes some big balls ;)

Does the job but not a particulalrly exciting or easy car to live with. Breakdowns are regular. Safety is poor. ust is a big problem as are the dreaded cooling systems ( I have not known a Metro that hasn't overheated!) not the mention the suspension displacers. Parts are cheap but have to be constantly replaced
