Overview

By 1990, the Land Cruiser was getting more and more luxurious, as American consumers were starting to drive larger cars as their everyday, family vehicles. Still, the 1990 Land cruiser was mostly meant as a rugged, utilitarian vehicle, ideal for off-roading.
The 1990 Land Cruiser came in one trim level, a four-wheel-drive four-door SUV. The engine was a 4.0-liter, 155 horsepower six-cylinder. The only available transmission was a four-speed automatic. Fuel economy was pretty poor, at 12/14 mpg.
Land Cruisers have an extremely loyal and enthusiastic following. The 1990 Land Cruiser was at the tail end of an era, because the following year the Land Cruiser would become much more plush. Fans of the 1990 Land Cruiser love its iconic boxy shape, rugged off-road handling, and solid reliability. Owners claim that with regular maintenance, the 1990 Land Cruiser will rarely need to visit the shop. Drivers complain that the ride is bumpy, the car is seriously underpowered, and it gets terrible gas mileage, but they love them anyway.

Great product! I have owned many. What you hear and read about them are true! I would buy them used, they last and you can save money. You get what you pay for. I have always been able to find a home for a good used Toyota!

This car is freedom materialized. need a parking spot but there are none left? just park on top of someone. Hit a dead end? theres no such thing when you can drive through concrete(actually attempted). The titanium front and back bumpers eliminate all obstacles in your path. plus it has enough trunk space to lie a double bed mattress flat (wink wink). With the vintage brakes and engine that come stock in the car you can accelerate from 0-60 in just under 30 seconds, and you can stop in under 100 meters! This gives the irresponsible person behind you who probably isn't paying attention plenty of time to notice your brake lights before it is too late. As far as fuel efficiency this car is top notch. emitting only the most poisonous of fumes and getting an incredible 13 mpg on the highway this car is the new age of fuel efficiency.
