Used 1990 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Hatchback RWD for Sale near Albuquerque, NM

One of my favorite cars I have ever owned. Lots of fun to modify. 200,000 + miles. Bolt on heaven the car was lost to a house fire with my 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 Hi-po 4 spd. Replaced it with a 91 hatchback that was once a 4 cylinder but converted to a 331 stroker, 5 spd TKO, 8.8, and Aerospace Engineering 4 wheel disc brakes. Griggs 4 link and Coil over + tubular a-arms. With Sparco blue/black bucket seats. It is a work in progress and will post pictures

Love this car, long live the five oh! Great styling inside and out. Solid performance, very enjoyable to drive. While the car is getting dated in performance it's very upgradeable with strong aftermarket support and it's easy to work on. These cars are getting rare where I live so it's nice to have a Mustang everyone else doesn't have. I will never get rid of this car.

My Mustang was one of the best cars I have ever drove. Had all kinds of power, got good fuel mileage, and was an absolute blast to drive. Looked great and sounded even better. I hope to have another one some day.

I have owned 3 other Fox body Mustangs prior to the one I currently own, I have always been a Ford fanatic, and have always been in love with Mustang 5.0's. They are the fastest cars you can buy for the money!! My current Stang is a mint condition Lx Hatch, I bought it 5 months ago. It has great performance/handling, it's rock solid, it's a very hot looking car inside/outside, the insurance rates are decent, the gas mileage is great for a performance V-8, it's a blast to drive.... Faaaassssstttt... I recommend Mustang 5.0's to anyone who is a American Muscle car lover...

Quick acceleration but with the 55/45 F/R it understeered too much for corners and then when the rear shocks went out the handling got even worse. The T5 transmissions are weak, even the World Classes. I've got through 2 of them in just a couple years and I had a stock 5.0 with pulleys, custom (I guess you can call it that) AC delete, Air pump delete, and the only vacuum line left was the one going to the brake booster. Factory suspension is so high it literally looks like it has a lift kit so that was unappealing. I wanted to set the engine back 8-10" with a custom firewall, double wishbone front suspension with a decoupled torque arm rear suspension, Saleen air dam and side skirts with GT rear bumper cover and Cobra wing. And paint it with the Panda Tureno type paint job since the AE86 (Levin) and Foxbody Mustang share a lot in appearance.
