Could use launch control, and more bottom end. Good acceleration, excellent braking and handling. Sexy exterior, great lines, sound system needs upgrading. Gas mileage (dunno, will see soon) Maintenance ( dunno) Fun...fun...fun to drive, lively back-end. Perfect for drifting.

A wonderfully balanced driving experience, timeless design, and understated elegance. The 928 is a car that was so ahead of its time, and its increasingly being recognized by collectors for this!

I love to be with her. She has the style I like. Most days I find myself with her covered in oil and greasy. It is not a fetish, well, not in that way. She is a little bit costly but it is fun to drive.

I’ve owned two 928s an ‘85S and an ‘88 S4, and they are solid reliable fun cars to drive. Heavier than a 911 or 944 or Boxster so not the ideal car for track days or auto cross. But for smooth long distance travel at a good clip and you have a few bags to take for a weekend you can’t beat it. If you don’t mind the fuel costs you can daily drive it too. Maintenance isn’t bad and if you’re handy you can do many things yourself. But finding a competent mechanic that knows the car and it’s complex electrical system can be a challenge. What the 928s lack in outright power they more than make up for in handling and style. I’m looking to buy a third one to add to my Cayenne Turbo and 996 Turbo. They really are great cars.
