Best looking, most balanced and over engineered Porsche made. Too bad my 911 buddies refused to get it. Has 100,000 miles but it works as new and I'll keep it forever. It is almost as fast as a new 911, rides on rails, can't be be unsettled, and much more comfortable for long rides than any other Porsche.

Great performance on this car. When people say these cars drive like they are on rails they are being conservative. I sticks to the road like white lines. This is likely due to the front engine rear transmission set up. A large V8 powers this car, which is necessary because it is actually quite heavy. For men taller than six feet this is the most comfortable car you can buy, because the seats are fully adjustable and being that its sitting on the ground your legs are comfortably out in front of you. Reasonably price on the market and tonnes of fun.

The 928, especially the 85+ cars, are incredibly fast, reliable, comfortable and very well built. The cars age taken into perspective, you really can't do much better. It is bang-for- your-buck ass on road fantastic! Highly recommended. As far as running costs, yes it is more than your average Hyundai, but if you instead compare it to something with more than 3 cylinders, say a Ferrari of the same vintage, it is by far cheaper to own and drive the 928. If you like to drive, buy a Porsche. If you like to repair, buy a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus or Jag.
