Started as a Mark 1 Lotus Escort and turned into a McLaren prepared Mk 1 1800cc BDG (430HP) Works Rally Car replica. 4" AVO Forest Flares, fully seam welded and gussetted body, 14-point cage,ZF 5-Speed, Rally Sport Rear Axle, 180lb Springs, Bilstein Shocks, Rose-Jointed suspension, AP-Lockheed Brakes and pedal box, Quick Rack, Double Dash, Ferrari F40 Seats, Magnesium Mini-lights on Pirreli Rally Tyres, Terra trip, sparco Harness and extinguiser system, Foam Filled Alloy fuel tank, dry sump, wheel base lengthened 2", 5-link rear end. White with Matt Black bonnet

awsome car cant beat a classic ford they are simple, pretty, come in a great range of colours, sound the nuts with many mods avaliable off the shelf, they are rear wheel drive and handle like a dream what more could you want join oldskoolford to see more

The rear suspension was lowered and it certainly helped the road holding, along with the "radial" tyres...lol
